About CLD Distribution

CLD Distribution Ltd - wholesalers specialising in lamps, lighting, audio and colour components. CLD Distribution Ltd originates from Comus Light Designs a manufacturer of lighting displays and screens formed in 1984.

During the late 80’s additional manufacturing included Rack, Equipment Cabinets and Speaker Enclosures. With the additional range of product the company name changed to CLD Supplies. As the company grew so did the demand for the consumables that were being used in the construction of the products.

Manufacturing and distribution require separate disciplines and in 1996 CLD Distribution Ltd was formed to provide reliable source of audio and lighting consumables to the trade and in 1999 the manufacturing side of the business “Comus” was sold. With the benefit of new larger premises CLD Distribution Ltd has increased its stock holding and comprehensive range of product to become a leading distributor for installation and service companies, trade outlets as well as providing stock holding for OEM.
